“ An authentic Mexican restaurant in Narragansett? Yup, more along the lines of what you’d expect to find in Providence. It’s hidden away in the Peir market plaza, which from an exposure standpoint, could be challenging. I’m not sure how well they are doing, but it would probably be tough to get into, if it were in downtown Wakefield. On both our two walk in visits, we were promptly seated. Are two drinks were excellent, mine being the spicy margarita and my wife’s being the Coco Loco. For an app, we shared the six salsa sampler, which varied in spice from mild to really hot, but even the really hot one was a slow building burn, which was probably tempered by the cream component and it was awesome. Instead of “chips” it’s served with 3 large round hard corn tortillas, very different. My wife ordered the vegetable taco’s and I ordered the Al Pastor (pork) taco’s. Both were outstanding and we will definitely be regulars here ”
“ Everything about this restaurant was so good! Perfectly flavored. I started with an appetizer and then got another, and they were both good so I ordered the Birria tacos. I’m glad I did because everything tasted so good. I had two shots of the Arette Reposado and then couldn’t stop myself when I seen how cool the margarita’s come out in such a cool cup! ”

“ We had a fantastic dining experience at Agave Social Cocina! We started with the Sopes and the salsa sampler, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. Next, we tried the birria tacos along with several other dishes, all of which were absolutely outstanding. Jed, who was working behind the bar, shared that they focus on providing authentic Mexican dishes that haven’t been ‘Americanized’—and it truly shows in the flavors. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff making us feel right at home. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking to enjoy a true taste of authentic Mexican cuisine! ”
“ Absolutely loved this trendy, but quaint hidden gem! Agave social has the perfect blend of cozy, elegance, & fun! We got drinks & dinner there and will 100% be returning! I’m very picky with barbacoa & flan, but this place tops the cake. Flan was to die for! Entrees were flavorful with great presentation & drinks were perfectly made! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and he was the nicer guy and so easy to talk to. Everything was appropriately priced as well. HIGHLY recommend! I think my fiance and I found our new spot! ”
“ A new gem to south county . This place just opened up recently and is absolutely beautiful inside and out!!! They have a wonderful outside patio and it's absolutely gorgeous inside. The food is some of the best Mexican we ever had. The staff is super friendly and the hands on owner Jed is one of the nicest people I have ever met! This food, ambiance and service is top notch and I highly recommend you checking it out!! The food is bomb!!! ) ”
“ We enjoyed our cocktails - traditional margarita and Social Old Fashioned (with tequila of course). We both inhaled the Street Corn app, and I probably liked that better than my Enchilada Verdes. We make this same dish at home, and really like the addition of caramelized onions to the chicken to give it broader flavor and moisture. My husband's Mole Colorado was very tasty and with flavors we'd not had before. We're just visiting the area, but really glad we stopped in here for dinner. Service was very fast and friendly. ”
“ I have gone twice in the past two weeks. Each time was perfect! Great atmosphere, great music, food was delicious. My favorite was the shrimp ceviche. The drinks were all just amazing and full of flavor. Even the mocktails hit the spot;) Price is reasonable. Quality is there; you definitely get what you are paying. Overall, I think this is a great spot and an incredible addition to Narragansett. I will be back for more ;) ”
